Broiled Whitefish

Ingredients

  • 2ea- sides fresh whitefish filet deboned

  • 2- bunches parsley 

  • 1-red onion- super fine dice 

  • 4 TBS- sumac

  • Juice- of two lemons 

  • ¼ C- EVOO 

  • Tools
  • Cutting board

  • Knife

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking Sheet

Method

  • Chop parsley, onions and sumac together and dress with lemon juice and EVOO. Allow to sit cold for the cook time of the fish.  
  • Place both sides of fish on a baking tray, season with salt pepper and brush with some EVOO or butter.
  • Broil on high for about 6 minutes. The flesh of the fish should tighten slightly, and the skin will remain on the tray.
  • Plate your fish and top with the parsley and sumac salad.
