Smoked Salmon with Herb Cheese

Here’s a great appetizer for the season

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Lb.- cream cheese (softened) 

  • ½ C- heavy cream 

  • ½ Lb.- unsalted butter (softened) 

  • ½ Lb.- goat cheese (softened) 

  • ½ C- grated parmesan 

  • 4 oz- fresh dill 

  • 4oz- fresh parsley 

  • 4oz- fresh chive 

  • 3 Tbs- dry marjoram 

  • 2 Tbs.- Old Bay 

  • 1 ½ Lb.- smoked salmon. Whitefish is also ok 

  • Kosher salt and Fresh Cracked pepper 

  • Tools
  • Mixer with paddle 

  • Measuring utensils 

  • Torch  

  • Servig dish 

  • Rubber spatula 

Method

  • Combine all the softened dairy in the mixer on low. 
  • Use a rubber spatula to scrape and the torch to heat the sides of the bowl if needed.
  • Once all the cheese and everything are combined add the cream smooth out, then the herbs, then the old bay, salt and pepper.
  • Serve with toast points, crackers bagels or just eat some, it’s delicious!
