Braised Leeks

4- Large leeks (cut in half length-wise)
½ Lbs/2 sticks - unsalted butter
1 C- white whine
2 Tbs- kosher salt
Method
- Place leeks in a medium hotel or cake pan. Add wine butter and salt cover tightly with foil.
- Place pan in a 375–degree oven for 25-35 minutes or until wine has mostly evaporated and leeks have begun caramelizing.
- Allow to cool and cut into servable pieces to be added to the apple pecan chutney.
