Classic, New England Cod

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs.- fresh cod filet or loin

  • ½ lb. -melted butter 

  • 2 C- Crushed ritz crackers or your favorite breading

  • 3 Tbs- water 

  • Tools
  • Knife 

  • Cutting Board 

  • Baking sheet

  • Measuring utensils 

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450.
  • Divide filets or loins into equal portions, lightly coat the fish in butter and dredge in breading.
  • Lay fish on a sheet or baking pan and add water and remaining butter to the pan and bake 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
